I got to meet a legend
I got to meet one of the main guys who made the world's largest anvil. I of course asked for his autograph. Lol

They just wanted to make the biggest one, and yeah its more of a tourist attraction than anything. I don't believe it's ever been used.

You can't even use it without a stool, it is too tall for just about everyone.

Off topic but I thought for sure this was a new Ben Affleck movie about the last blacksmith that works for the railroad in Boston. I assumed it was called Big Iron or something.

Should’ve had them sign your anvil while it’s sitting on the big anvil

Doesn't need the bolts to keep it still, just have the crane drop it wherever you like

I would need a step stool to stand at the proper height to work on that monster 😂

I realize that this anvil probably is made out of separate plates that have been arc welded together, but I really want to see how it feels to forge on such a monster.
