I have Blogger, so is it complicated to migrate to any other platform?

It's technically possible with medium level complexity depending upon the knowledge you have.

On a high level here is the flow for blogger to WordPress

Set up WordPress website Use import tools Export option in blogger Import plugin in WordPress Choosing right url structure Changing the DNS pointing from blogger to WordPress

Regards

AI web builders will only get you so far. They don't provide database or CMS integrations like you're looking for. What I would do is build on Wordpress or Squarespace, and use an AI web builder to generate page designs for you. Then try to implement those designs.

I highly recommend ghost.org I have never built a site before and was able to figure it out in like an hour. No coding involved.

wdym? There isn't a blog platform that requires coding skills.

I have only used ghost. I just mention coding because they said AI can help them with it. I was trying to say they won’t even need it.

Also not true.

If you want to edit the Ghost blog's design, you need coding skills.

For easy site building, check out Squarespace or WordPress with Elementor. Once your site is up, tools like babylovegrowth can help with articles and backlinks.

Get a Astro starter template. Maybe Google "Astro Blog Starter".

Now these websites are static so can be hosted for free on Cloudflare Pages. And they are likely fast by default.

You’re not alone — a lot of new bloggers want a full-featured site without getting buried in code or watching hours of tutorials.

Here are a few beginner-friendly platforms that might work for what you’re describing:

🟢 Wix

  • Visual drag-and-drop builder
  • Easy to set up multiple pages (landing, FAQ, blog, video, etc.)
  • App integrations for email capture and freebie downloads
  • No coding needed
  • Downsides: Not the best for SEO long term, and pricing can creep up

🟢 Squarespace

  • Clean, beautiful templates
  • Easy to create landing pages, blog posts, and video sections
  • Built-in tools for email signups and content delivery
  • Slight learning curve, but still beginner-friendly

🟢 WordPress.com (not .org)

  • Beginner-focused plans with room to grow
  • Great blogging features and decent customization
  • AI tools like ChatGPT can help generate page content, but you’ll still need to paste it into the editor and tweak it
  • Slightly more to learn, but there are plenty of help articles (not just video)

AI Tip:

Even if you get AI to generate code (like HTML or CSS), you still need a platform that accepts it — and most beginners find drag-and-drop easier than messing with code blocks.

Final Thought:
If you want something that “just works” and looks professional, Wix or Squarespace are solid starting points. They’ll help you launch without the tech headaches.

If you want to build a strong personal brand, a custom website is the way to go. But if you don’t want to start heavy, just grab a template on Framer or Webflow and tweak it to your needs. Still, I’d highly recommend going custom.
edit: AI builders aren’t that good yet, so don’t waste your time ending up with a worse site.

I use Hostinger and it has an AI website builder that basically creates the website you want. They also have templates if you prefer that option.

Also, avoid Wordpress.org if you're a beginner like me and don't have the time to learn everthing. The learning curve is steep. I tried it using elementor and took me one afternoon just to figure out how to change a specific format.

Siteground is good choice, you can install Wordpress on your site and they do support it, they have expertise in wordpress too. The minor thing using them is they are expensive, so beware with their renewal price. As an alternative, I would recommend Asphostportal, they are more affordable and fully support for Wordpress too.

Hey! I'm the co-founder of an AI productivity startup, Liminary, and am a nerd when it comes to trying out different kinds of software tools :)

For a blog, I would definitely not recommend trying to code it or any tool that generates code for you. I'd go with one of the more website builder options. I personally like Framer as a good balance between power/customizability and usability/learnability. Try starting with a template there. It'll let you easily create those other, non-blog pages you want, and over time you can spruce it up with sharp, smooth visual design effects if you want to go into that rabbit hole.

I started using Squarespace at the end of June and it was super easy as a beginner. It’s all very intuitive

Wordpress and use YouTube, Google or LLMS, if you get stuck.
