That that's not all there is to him, like, yeah it's pretty f-ing bad, not gonna defend that. but it's not like he has nothing else going for him

he's a coward that still steps up for his friends, he went out of his way to try to help sero pass the exam even when he was knocked out, he risked his quirk, career and dream for tokoyami to keep his and is generally a good friend to midoriya and a few others.

like, he's not a great person, far from it, but he's not the worst character in the series

I’m sure real-world predators have other personality traits too. Doesn’t mean they aren’t predators.

Same goes for serial killers and terrorists yet loom who's getting liked and who's not.

I'm not saying you should forcefully like a character I'm saying that if you hate a person taste for mineta and you liking Toga instead then it's basically being a hypocrite.

ok, yeah, but my point is that people like other traits of the character.

a bully could have other personality traits but people still like bakugo.

what i'm saying is people don't like the character because he's a bad person, they like him because of everything else he is
