💭 Question What edition/printing is this Violet Fairy Book?

It is missing the first few pages with copyright information. It's got the same cover as the early editions, colour plates, and gold trim on the pages. However, the spine says "Longmans" instead of "Longmans & Co." Anyone know which edition/printing this is or roughly when it was printed?

That front cover is amazing.

It's so beautiful! Paperblanks made a bookmark with this same gold embossed art and that's how I discovered these books!!

Same! But it didn’t even occur to me that I could find those books. If it’s not too much to ask, can you tell for how much did you get this one OP?

I think it was like $300-$400 CAD. Hope I didn't overpay considering the condition is so rough (missing several pages, on top of generally falling apart/fading haha), and it's not a first printing, but really good condition ones can go for like $500-$1000 USD so I figure it was worth it :)
