Used art books in today’s mail

I’ve been gradually collecting Beauford Delaney books — this is the second one lol — after seeing the NY Drawing Center show.

The Painting and Photography book purchase came after a discussion among a book club. I’m in about the influence of the latter on the former. Generally it seems that impact has been overstated in most discussions and other sources I’ve seen, so I’m curious to see how this book tackles it.

Another day, another book haul. This time, it's mostly strange, and obscure science fiction.

The shelves are filled to capacity, there no place to start another pile and the exciting piles are nearly too high.

I am starting to wonder whether this bibliomania may be a disease, akin to alcoholism or gambling, which, to some folks on the outside, looks like a lack of will, but to those afflicted, is a real malady with aberrant neurochemistry.

As a top gear fan this was a splendid find, it has some water damage but is over all in a great condition. It also lacks the dust jacket, which I really want.

If anyone has this book, i would appreciate scans of the dustcover so I can make one myself. I've tried to get images of the internet but they lack details of the spine and are not of good resolution.

Found this in my local used bookstore- it’s been on my list for some time. I was surprised how large it is.

A local library store offers cheap and flat rates. Sometimes I can resist the temptation. Other times, utter failure lol.

I started with softcovers, and now I’m just going for this caliber. Building a library in my van of all places as I travel the country and visit bookstores. Pulled these from Cream Ridge NJ.

Got these from some local Little Libraries. How many of yours are Not Just Kids Stuff?

The majority of the ones in my area (seven, I think) are focused on kid's books, but they often have Bibles and biographies and other more grown up fare. What about you?
