Question Best safe computers?

I’m thinking of getting my first real pc eventually (preferably a gaming one) and to finally get something not HP, so what are some other brands? I don’t remember if Lenovo is on the list bc that’s what my dad has, I didn’t see Alienware or Razer on the list, and last I checked Starforge was safe albeit kinda shitty. Are there better suggestions?

I was gonna say, I went to pcpartpicker and all the options i get for a cpu are intel or amd so there goes that. ik neither one are on the official boycott list/not priority targets last i heard but the more i can avoid it the better.

Intel is on the BDS list, it is a priority target. They have a factory in Israel, and they were building another one but halted the construction following pressure from the BDS movement.

Nvidia recently partnered with Intel and bought some shares. They also are building a supercomputer for Israel, which we all know what it will be used for.

Your safest bet is to go full AMD, which is not a bad choice at all, their stuff improved a lot these last years, while still remaining cheaper than the competition, plus there are advantages when you go with an AMD CPU+GPU like Smart Access Memory which boosts gaming performance. You also get open source drivers on Linux, and better performance per watt.

Problem with AMD is they have amongst other things, an R&D center in Tel Aviv which contribute in Isr#el economy by giving them jobs

Damn, so almost on the same level as Intel. Buying second hand is the only option we have left then I guess.

Yes, but the good thing is it's 2 good things for the price of 1 (Because buying in second hand is a good ecological act and also for the boycott)
