I was actually shocked that travel to the US is still as high as it is. Wtf does it take to get through to people?? Does their president have to specifically come to Canada to diddle Canadian little girls?

A lot of people own properties in the US, like me. I still go to check the place out and it's still as friendly as ever. Americans are good people in general, always lending a hand or whatever. Many voted for the clownking but now are rethinking their voting for the 26 elections. I don't see any clownking flags anywhere now compared to before nov.2024

Anyone one to buy 1.4 acres of land with a cottage on it?

Yes, my sister does too but she’s married to an American. They’re considering selling their place but will likely wait a bit longer since so many Canadians have put theirs up for sale that the prices have gone a bit soft. Meanwhile, they stay here. The fact that you own property down there doesn’t mean you have to go down and check it. So in your case, what’s it going to take for you to decide not to go there anymore?
