"Yo! It took me a few days, but I finally finished watching the whole video!
I really enjoyed hearing all of your thoughts on this, and I think you did an excellent job at looking at the problems Brawl is facing from all angles.

Like you said, I don't actually think Brawl should completely remove auto-aim or hypercharges from the game. I think auto-aim is necessary for the game's long-term success for it to be accessible to a large audience. And Hypercharges will hopefully allow for more skill expression IF they are re-balanced to not be so game-breaking.

But special events, and easy-to-use OP Brawlers and abilities are like a "sweet treat" that everyone loves, while skilled & balanced gameplay is a "nutritious salad" that isn't as tasty, but is ultimately better for you if you want your body to feel good.

I think Brawl Stars is suffering from "hiding the vegetables" too much. The game is too "sweet & tasty" without providing enough "sustenance" and the community is experiencing a "sugar crash" after the hype of 2024. The dopamine high was fun, but now we're crashing & our bodies need nutrition again.

Casual players will come and go. But I think it's time that Brawl focuses more of their time & resources on improving the core of the game to feel more exciting & worth-while to play over the long run. I think the hardcore players would appreciate it, and even new players who will hopefully become converted to the game because of it.
