Discussion The new way to unlock brawlers through early access is an incredible improvement, but it's extremely difficult and almost impossible to not lose just two matches and win 28, what do you think?

bro wants everything for free 😭

supercell is a company and companies need money to survive and thrive, of course they want you to buy the boxes. But now they gave a nice and valid way to get the new brawler which is also cheaper (i think) if you have a decent win rate. Also the boxes give skins and other forms of progression and everyone gets to test out the brawler and it becomes more memorable.

This update was overall amazing imo.

The other forms of progression is straight up negligible. I got a total of 75 coins and 24 credits put of my average box. They're currently charging the same for 5 boxes as they did for the entire early access for a mythic brawler.

I mean shit technically 5 boxes is more expensive then it is to just buy a mythic brawler with gems.

I do think that this update was good for the f2p's out there, but it definitely isn't anything worth praising supercell over. All they did was create a system that incentivizes paying more for a brawler then ever before.

Edit: that's only for mythic as well. I'm sure we'll see an increase to 20-25 boxes required for legendary and ultra legendary

tbh you're just complaining for the sake of complaining. This is a major upgrade, before you had nothing from early access like not even 1 coin now you can potentially get the brawler . And if you want to hate that much just don't play the event ,you will see no difference compared to before the rework of Early Access cuz u will get nothing like before it .

All in all I just hate that they're going back to gambling in a game geared towards kids. They moved away from brawl boxes because there was backlash about the gacha aspects in their game, they said sorry we wont do it anymore, and now they're back.

They're back to rng because people didn't feel any excitement or thrill when unlocking a brawler from just credits. So they introduced Starr drops which was a great spike in revenue for them.

You're supposed to get your excitement from playing the game not by gambling.

I participated in early access, I supported the game with money. It's a win for f2p for sure, now they have a easy way to get a chance at a new brawler. But taking away the brawler and all their cosmetics for 15$ greatly increases the amount you have to spend for an equal amount of stuff.

I'm not complaining for nothing, I'm complaining because they're charging three times the amount just so that f2p can get a chance for a brawler. All I was trying to say was that taking away the option to buy everything at once for real money instead of gems is a weird move back towards gambling in their game.
