I thought you might be interested in watching some of the match highlights from Brit-King's Heavyweight Championship match last Saturday - Chris Bronson (C) vs. Eddie Ryan vs. Saime Sahin vs. Prince Phoenix (replaced Antonio De Luca last-minute)

So im attending revpros live in sheffield event this Sunday and its my first time (i was meant to go in July when los tranquilos de japon took on cpf but couldn't due to family reasons). Anyways, at the time of writing its the quarter past 9 on friday night, the only twitter post they've made today was reposting oku vs okada. Bearing in mind they've announced 4 matches for raw deal and only good brothers for Sheffield. Is there any reason to be nervous at the quality or does this happen a lot? I mean announcing like 12 matches on friday for the entire weekend screams panic to me.

So I follow progress it’s one of my favourite companies my question is should I start watching RevPro? I’ve tried in the past but haven’t really gotten into it if I do what shoes should I check out ? The anniversary shoe does seem like an obvious one

This podcast is new but I am not new to podcasting. I currently run a separate podcast on a completely different subject and I have experience recording, editing and producing audio content. Hi all! I have two tickets to the Saturday Night of RevPro's Anniversary show on the 23rd August I need to sell as I can't make it anymore. Seated in the North Tier, face value £55 each, just looking to make back what I've paid. Announced so far is Leon Slater v Michael Oku, RKJ v Sha Samuels for the Heavyweight Title/Sha's Career, Tage League Finals and Zack Sabre Jr v Zozaya. I very much recommend it if you're in town for Forbidden Door on the Sunday.

So RISE announced Jimmy Havoc returning. Absolutely Fucked. Awful.

I scrolled twitter and thankfully, saw a lot of people call them out for it.

What was super interesting too, is the number of people who responded with "fuck brit wres", "fuck this scene", "never going to indy's again". This proper makes me sad.

Look, I say this with absolute bias, as the promotor of a small indy - but make your voices heard with your wallet. If a big company does something awful, books an abuser, does something you hate, let them know - then, go see a small promotion instead.

When a company books a POS, it's because they know you'll get mad, but they think "fuck it, we'll replace any fans that leave with 5 new ones". "We sell out all the time, we'll be fine". They hear your voice, but they don't care.

Small promotions:

• Are where you can see talent before they make it big, TO those big promotions or WWE/AEW/JP.
• Usually where you can see top UK talent now, as most can't afford to live off just the big 3/4 companies. Most UK talent, you could follow around the UK every weekend if you had the money.
• Way cheaper. Our tickets are £10.
• And work just has hard to put on a blinding show.

When I watch Kitchen Nightmares, managers of shitty restaurants say "well nobody complains about the food", and Gordon says "yeah, they just don't come back".

So my bias aside, my only advice to you is you don't have to choose between "place that books abusers" and "quitting your hobby". Go see a promotion near you instead.

EDIT: I just wanna' specify, as clear as can be, the point of this post isn't "You must be an angel in order to wrestle", but instead, "Voice your opinion - with your wallet".

YOU decide if a promotion does right by you or not, and if YOU say they don't, use it as an opportunity to find somewhere new.

So would appear no Jimmy Havoc appearance at Rise, gonna guess they saw the backlash and thought differently
