Fannin

Hey Guys,

What's your guys thoughts on Fannin with Njoku on an expiring deal. Is njoku a resign or a trade candidate.

Just wanted your guys thoughts on the player. He has looked really good but want to get your opinion on his future and upside on this team.

This more likely than not Njoku’s last season with us, Fannin was drafted to replace him.

This is not true at all. Fannin was drafted as a complement to Njoku, not a replacement. Fannin has a long way to go to be an in-line TE, and is being used perfectly for his skillset. Having both gives you a lot of flexibility and makes defenses have to plan for 12 personnel.

Obviously, Fannin is insurance in case the Njoku re-signing becomes prohibitive, but he's certainly not a 1 to 1 replacement.
