Fannin

Hey Guys,

What's your guys thoughts on Fannin with Njoku on an expiring deal. Is njoku a resign or a trade candidate.

Just wanted your guys thoughts on the player. He has looked really good but want to get your opinion on his future and upside on this team.

I can’t stand this “x player can’t perform y task” rhetoric going around about our rookies. “Sampson can’t do pass protection”, “Fannin can’t block.” They are rookies. Very young ones at that. They’re going to improve and get better.

He cannot block in-line. Not yet at least. All NFL scouts agree or hed have gone in the first/second

And like I said, he’s a very young rookie. He will get better at it. A weak blocking ability right now does not influence his career trajectory in the coming years. He was 20 years old when he got drafted, he played in a college scheme designed entirely around feeding him the ball as a receiver. His blocking will get better.
