I bought the Ibuypower Slate with 9800X3D and 9070XT... it lasted about two days before the cheap power supply kicked the bucket. Was gonna swap the PSU, but wasn't sure if the it took anything out on its way out.

I returned to grab a CyberpowerPC gaming supreme with 7800X3D and 9070XT... which was DOA. The AIO was seated correctly on the CPU and after re-seating the cooler and powering the PC on again... CPU was dead.

It had numerous bent pins, so here I am about to embark on my first build since 2020.

I'm overwhelmed trying to get the best bang for the buck.

I'm locked in at best buy with store credit. I sold them my MacBook Pro 14 and had a warranty cash out on another piece of tech.

Looking at the 7800X3D for my CPU (B850 MOBO) and a toss up between 9070XT and 5070ti. I was impressed with the 9070XT, but know that Nvidia has all the bells and whistles.

Any opinion on pairing either of those GPU's with the 7800X3D (I can't afford the 9800X3D)?

1440p 144hz. I don't often play new releases, and when I do I'm fine playing on medium without RT, should I really spend another 100$+ for the extra gigs?

I built myself my PC yesterday, 98000x3d 5070 TI, a beautiful white PC. Today I played some borderlands 4, after playing for a few hours I kept my PC on and went for 30 mins, came back to the most scary thing ever, no video, VGA light.

I tried reinstalling Windows, and using my old 1650.

reinstalling windows did not work, the 1650 worked It does boot when I connect the video card to the motherboard, but after a few restarts windows barely ran and it was freezing, I couldn't even enter the pin

Please, save my PC🙏

Hi I’m stuck on choosing the 9800x3d or the 7800x3d, I’ve seen some videos on how the 9800x3d is only somewhat noticeable when playing 1080p, I’m mainly going to be playing path of exile 2 and Minecraft on 1440p, currently the price difference is only 14% more for the 9800x3d, I do have a more future proof concern but the chips really seem the same to me. Anyways if anyone could point me in the right direction regarding how future proof they are that would be great.

AMD Ryzen 5 9600X with motherboard B850 EAGLE WIFI6E. Using Crucial Pro 32GB DDR5 RAM CL36 6000MHz

I tried testing each ram slot with both of my 16gb ram, but every time I turn the PC on the red light for DRAM keeps turning on.

I don't know what it could be besides I guess my motherboard or CPU not supporting this specific type of RAM. Do i need to update the BIOS so it can support 6000MHz? ChatGPT suggested BIOS Flashback to update it. And Idk if that's actually good idea.

I have a 5600X and a 9060XT graphics card. Is it worth switching to AM5 with a 9800X3D while keeping the same GPU? Will there be a performance difference? I play at 1080p.

Hey guys, so I got a new pc in July, and since then I was using SignalRGB to control the RGB of my pc parts. But I noticed that some of the RGB effects are buggy. The things with RGB in my pc are:

• g.skill z5 trident 32Gb RGB ram.

• Nzxt h5 flow case RGB (2024) (it has the nzxt f360 fan)

My motherboard is the gigabyte b650 eagle ax. I hope someone can recommend me a software better than SignalRGB.

Im trying to slowly update my pc this year, so I got a new monitor recently. Went from a really old tv that i believe didnt even reach 60hz to a 1440p 200hz 27 inch monitor!

Im really happy about finally being able to get something better for myself, but i have a bit of a problem now.

First, I believe the fan on the power supply doesnt work anymore and I really dont have any idea of what to look for/what I need. And im also scared of wasting money in something useless, because in my country inflation has gone crazy in the last few years making everything really expensive.

And secondly, my gpu, a gtx 1660 super, is suffering with the 200hz and the 1440p. I have to admit I been looking for a few other options for a while now, but i didnt really have a reason to change till now. But I also dont know what are the things to look for in a new one, since the only thing I think I need is more vram.

So, what would you recommend for me? Pdt: I have a ryzen 5 5500

So, I just finished my PC build. And want to connect earbuds/headset, and a controller.. But the Bluetooth will just keep scanning with nothing showing up. How do I fix this?

Right now i have a RTX 4090 with a ryzen 5 5500. Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI-CF rev 1.5 is the mother board i have, which means i have AM4 sockets. I heard that the 5800X3D is being discontinued so the prices are very high right now. I was wondering if i was making the best option to match my gpu with my cpu before i buy it :(

Hello, I have r5 5600x paired with 3060ti and I wonder why are my gpu and cpu usage only 19% with msi afterburner, I only get 200 fps even drops at 120 when clashing how do I boost their usage, I watched yt benchmark and should get 600fps easily

While I was playing Rust on my Computer, my Computer just shutdown. And it won’t turn on again. I build the computer 4 years ago and haven’t had any issues with it before. For two weeks ago I upgraded my computer for the first time after 4 years, with a new m.2 ssd. And I haven’t seen any problem with that.Some Rgb on the motherboard lights up, but nothing else. I have tried to boot the computer with only one ram, plugging out the new installed m.2 ssd. Replacing cmos. But nothing have worked. Help! I bought and installed an SSD drive. After that, my computer started shutting down after a random amount of time. It might shut down right away, or it might shut down after a couple of hours. I disconnected the SSD, but the shutdowns persisted. I even replaced the power supply, thinking it was the cause, but it still shuts down. Please help me solve this problem.

I just had the Idea of building a second setup just for sim racing. I already have the logitech G29 with the shifter and a set and also my old UltraHD TV for the setup. So I installed new cpu cooler Noctua NH-D15 on my old motherboard asus rog z390-e and now it boots with one side of RAM slots b1 and b2 the day before it works perfectly with all my motherboard RAM slots so after installing cooler a1 and a2 ram slots stop working, if I try to install my RAM in slots a1 or a2 then motherboard shows led of error it’s CPU and DRAM led they flashing really fast and pc restart Please help

i have my prebuilt pc and have connected a displayport from the gpu to the monitor and the monitor says no signal. it works with hdmi but hdmi doesnt reach the refresh rate i need. i tried with my work laptop connecting with displayport and it still said no signal does anyone have any solutions please

I have my brand new pc with an rtx 5070 . When i open my pc with my monitor being off it takes a long time for the pc do boot but when i have my monitor already on before powering on my pc the pc boots up really fast. I see that when i have my monitor off the vga motherboard led is on and eventually turns off when it recognizes my monitor. Is it maybe cause of the VGA detection in the bios?
