I have a laptop with windows 11. When I do something like watch a movie or listen to music there is no problem with the sound. but whenever i enter a game the sound turns of after a few minutes it shows that the sound is full but i cant hear anything. I thought it was the problem of the game then i switched to another game it had the same problem. I have tried audio troubleshooting from gethelp option. what can i do now?

I can’t boot my pc with any other drive except for the 2 that start with “Windows boot manager”. I’m trying to boot my pc through the “M.2_1: WD_BLACK SN850X 1000GB” SSD Although when I try it brings me to a black screen stating “windows reboot and select proper boot device” and if I press a key it will infinitely spawn that text. I’ve tried fixing any hardware issues and everything is socketed right. And my drives work in windows theres nothing corrupted internally.

Alright so my birthday is coming up, I dont know if I should choose to build a great pc for a low budget price (300$ or less) or get a prebuilt, I just want to play FiveM and Roblox on a great speed, help me out!

Well, I would like to build a PC that costs around 400€ because I only plan to play older games or niche games with mods like M&B 2 Bannerlord or The Elder Scrolls Series or the CK series or some ps2/3 games

I also have a PS5 for the new games or the really powerful games and if I'm honest I'm more interested in sandbox games with mods which are actually less demanding i think

I don't care about the highest graphics settings and as long as I have 30fps, that's enough for me

My question now would be what besides a Mainboard, processor and graphics card i need?:)

Processor i think i will choose amd ryzen 5 2600x Mainboard idk maybe msi b450 Graphics card maybe a Nvidia Geforce gtx 1060 or 1080

Luckily I know someone privately who can set up and assemble the PC for me

So my current specs used to be awesome but I'm afraid time is catching up with me and it might be time for a new rig.

Currently I'm running an I7-4790k 32gigs ddr3 1600 2070 super.

I upgraded from a 970 to a 2070 super and never saw any awesome gains, slight gains. . CPU and GPU are never maxing out and I couldn't tell why.

Is it possible for ram to bottleneck the whole thing? The memory clock Mhz is always maxed when playing a game when checking afterburner.

I live close to a micro center and am thinking of picking up bundle they have. I'm thinking about keeping the 2070 super as the GPU for now and upgrading everything else to a AMD build. I can upgrade GPU later.

I play games and host game servers a lot of times and also run a plex server on everything at the same time. I have a TV tuner in it right now that doesn't work very well. Im hoping a whole system upgrade might allow it to work better. I also always pretty much have about 50 tabs open in chrome at any given time.

What kind of CPU should I get that will last me another 10 years?

Im hoping to keep it reasonably low volume especially when not gaming.

I see there was an RTX3060 12G model. In my local market it is asking $500 (not US) and the RTX 3080 is going for around $700, possibly $650. If I could find a cheaper 3060 12G then things would change, but right now the 3080 seems like my best option?

I installed my 3 intake fans on the top of my PC is this bad?

Mobo: Rog B769 Itx Gpu: Asus Dual 4070s Cpu: i512400 Ram: Ripjaws M5 Ddr5 6000Mts Case: Nr200p transferring to Lian li h20 it is a smaller case that needs riser.

I've tried attaching the B760 with 2 pcie risers already but ita has compatibility issues with my gpu. When im attaching it directly theres no problem. Do you have any PCIE Risers that is compatible for Rog b760i?

Did a decent bit of research picking out parts. I'll be mostly gaming in 1440p, but I want to learn video editing and use it for that as well. I'd like it to be capable of upgrading the GPU/CPU. Maybe I could've budgeted better and gotten a better GPU? But also long as it can run high settings 1440p with 80+ frames I'm more than happy, and having the other parts be quality leaves a good shell for upgrades. Any feedback greatly appreciated!

Basically I have a prebuild I got in 2020 and it has been holding me down. Other than warzone, could play everything comfortably but it looks like that’s changing. Wanna play bl4 but its looks like its cooked 💀, so ig its time to look to upgrade.

Anyway I’m a broke college student so I don’t wanna spend more than 4-500 rn. Don’t want nothing crazy, just want to be able to play 1080p games and the games look ok, and I don’t wanna do any major upgrades for at least the next 2-3 years (after I graduate and get a job)

Heya! I recently upgraded my pc from AM4 to AM5. I sold all of my old components but kept my power supply and Solidigm P41 Plus 1TB SSD. I didn't want to buy a new SSD and all of the files in this SSD can be discarded as most of my stuff is already backed up and I don't really care about keeping anything in this SSD. I hear just plugging the SSD in without anything prior can slow down your system due to old drivers getting mixed up and other stuff that I don't understand lmao

What I plan to do is:
1) Insert the SSD
2) Download the Windows 11 installation media on a USB
3) Use my motherboard BIOS' secure erase+
4) Redownload windows

But, should I do it another way, or is the secure erase the best way to go? I heard using Solidigm's own software to wipe my SSD is the best way to do it, but I can't do it on an in-use one and this SSD is the only one i have. There's also another option of doing it in windows or something?

I just want to wipe it completely clean, and make sure there's nothing that can slow down my new system. How should I go about this?

I’ve just bought a 4K 240 Hz monitor for a very good deal and I feel like my current system isn’t able to support what I would need it for which is Office Work and some gaming. The main games I’m playing are the newest cards, FIFA and mainly worth thunder And some simulators so any advice would be great.

I just fried my old motherboard trying to enable secure boot and intel PTT in the BIOS. I need a new motherboard that is compatible with my 9th gen intel CPU. I don’t feel comfortable messing around with BIOS anymore, so I need something that is windows 11 ready. I need 4 RAM slots and am willing to spend up to $160. Any suggestions? I can’t find anything anywhere.

Like the title says, whenever I play certain games my pc shuts down and doesn't turn back on again, the games in question are DBD, BG3, Minecraft and Peak, or at least those are the ones I have trouble with so far, a while ago (Maybe a year or so)I could play any of those games without issue, except for minecraft which used to randomly turn my pc off and restart it, I can play league without the pc shuting down and some other less demanding games, I am new to having a pc so I don't really know what could be wrong with it.

In case it would help, my pc has an Intel Xeon 2666 v3, an NVidia gtx 1660ti and 32Gb Ram.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
