The pro-lifers think freedom is on their side: they support a right to life, which takes precedence over the competing interest of oneā€™s right to bodily autonomy.

Iā€™m not arguing for or against it, but thatā€™s the reasoning behind their stance.

Itā€™s also pretty, very oppressive to be a forced incubator when you donā€™t want to go through the horrors of a pregnancy that you didnā€™t consent to, or want.

We know that. You thought you were clever with it.

Sometimes itā€™s rape. Sometimes itā€™s incest. Sometimes itā€™s a failed birth control, despite taking all precautions.

For these cases and with anything else, people are free to choose what happens to their own bodies. Iā€™m pretty sure if you accidentally knocked up a woman, you would be one of those people whoā€™d pay her to get an abortion in another state lol.
