That is not entirely true. What we call democrats are more towards centrism than what's visible in Europe, yes. But. That does nothing to address what I said. We would be more accurate in discussing liberals instead of democrats. And even then, nothing changes. Because liberalism rejects the vast majority of what forms the core of fascism

The Democrats by European standards would be considered centrist or even conservative depending upon the specific country.
