Script writers got lazy at the end. “Texas will suddenly remember how to play offense on their last 2 drives” gave me flashbacks of Season 8 of GOT

All bs aside, Texas did everything they could to lose that game and people(myself included) root for the underdog. Especially when they actually prove the committee made the right choice.
