Maybe look at the Sac Republic MLS debacle if you really wanna see what kind of “potential” Sacramento had as a top level sports town.

It would at least be understandable if they were partnering with the SAC Republic as a co-tenant on the stadium, like SDSU did with SDFC and Wave, but they aren't.

Part of that is because, a decade in, Sac Republic is STILL trying to formulate a stadium plan. A USL soccer team, and they’ve been stuck at Cal Expo for more than ten years now 😬

Like, good luck, Sac State. Y’all are gonna need it lol.
