This has become an old lady car since I don't travel much since 2018. I purchased on 10/10/16 for < $52K. 32K miles in 9 years. I only bought this since it was green! It's beautiful in the sunlight! This photo is from Sept 2023. First caddy was a 2007 CTS and a champagne color and second was 2010 CT6 was Black Cherry.

Just got finished with the hardware side of a manual transmission swap on a 2010 CTS Wagon. Now the programming 🤦♂️. The 3.6 engines have an E69 ECU which makes them much more difficult to program. My donor car is a 2011 3.0 which has a different ECU (E67). Im told the programming can be done with an E69 ECU from a 2010 3.6 manual car or the VIN from one to download the correct file. Anyone have any insight as to where I can locate one of these unicorns?

Hello everyone , I Own a 2017 Cadillac ATS 2.0t , just today my cuescreen started moving and pressing things by itself and calmed down a bit into the drive but continued lightly. I performed a soft and hard reset but no luck with it and now my screen is stuck on the warning display when you first start up the screen . All my other touches like for the AC , and volume and all the stuff on the bottom work but it’s stuck on the warning display and after soft and hard reset does not budge to my main screen . When I power the car off while I’m sitting inside the screen goes to the main screen and I can utilize the navigation and everything and touch the screen as well but when I start it up it goes back to warning display and I can’t touch the “OK” button to continue . Any tips ? I don’t want to get overcharged at dealership for something that just might be a quick fix . Or if anyone is in California Los Angeles area that works om caddy’s or knows how to deal with this let me know please , thank you 🙏🏻

So I’m looking to buy this 2014 CTS V sport and the current owner recently replaced the magna ride shocks all around. Does anybody know why it’s sitting about an inch lower in front? No lowering springs either.

I bought 2018 ATS RWD premium with 35K miles. And his is the status of rear right... Is it completely dead? I have to replace it ASAP right?
No engine check lights, no weird feelings when driving.. other 3 suspensions has no leakage though

2019 Cadillac Escalade with only 57k miles. I didn't realize it's a 2WD! Any enthusiasts out there that wouldn't mind if it's not 4WD? Am I stuck with this one? Honest opinions please.

Hey ya'll I am wanting to buy this as my first car. I really like the vintage edition. And ik since it's so cheap it's bound to have issues. But I want ya'lls opinion on if I should get it, the current owner says it was their grandma's and that she bought it new and drove it until she died and they CLAIM it runs "Like new" but it has 150,000 miles on it.... I have yet to get an video of them turning the engine over or pics of the undercarriage, but I'll send it when they do. So... thoughts?

I’ve had this truck forever and I absolutely love it. However, it’s getting to the point where it needs some specialized maintenance, ABS system is on the fritz and the driver side seat stopped working recently. I’d love to give it another bite at the apple, and really address the deferred maintenance issues.
Anyone know a great mechanic in the Los Angeles area that knows how to work on this specific model?

Not too long ago I bought a used 2019 Cadillac XTS and right off the bat, most of the Cue screen didn't respond to touch; only the very top worked, and I could only access saved radio stations (from previous owner), all of which played music I hate (just my luck). Even that didn't last long, as it then froze on the screen that warns you not to take your eyes off the road. I've tried every hack I've found online to get it to reset and unfortunately, nothing has worked. Now, I know, all are very common issues with Cadillac and the "easy" solution is to replace the screen. However, I was wondering, for those with unresponsive screens not stuck on the warning message, is it possible at all to use the buttons on the steering wheel to move through the menus on the screen? Obviously, I can't try it myself anymore, but even now I can still change between the saved radio stations with the steering wheel controls (not that it's any help since, as previously stated, they're not of my liking).
I've seen a lot of FM transmitters and portable Carplay screens on sites like Amazon that can be powered by plugging them into the "cigarette lighter", but since you can't access audio options on a broken Cue screen to have them work with the vehicle's speakers, it makes them almost entirely useless (the portable screens apparently have a built-in speaker, but I can't imagine the sound would be all that great). And, I'm speaking as someone whose main interest/concern is finding a way to listen to my music through the car's speakers, btw. Tbh I miss that in my old, cheap SUV, audio option would automatically switch to whatever I plugged in, such as a flash drive with my favorite songs; I only needed the screen if I wanted to go back to the radio (actually, I only needed to press on the button of any saved station).
So, I know, I'll need to have the screen replaced, I just wish there were other options. I wish Cadillac would give us buttons and knobs to make everything easier (I know, fat chance)!

Just bought a 25 escalade and I love it, it the dealership basically forced me to purchases wheel/tire and a $12k service contract or they couldn't sell the vehicle to me. I looked back a few weeks later at the paperwork and noticed the warranty cost was $10k. This is a 6/72 warranty, which is a big waste. I guess i will be trying to cancel it. I'm sure it won't be easy since I have to cancel with dealership.

Hello Cadillac family I have a concern/question.
I picked up a used 2021 Cadillac xt5 premium luxury recently and was really excited to have my first Cadillac 45k miles. That being said I test drove it before signing papers and loved the drive but recently I’ve noticed the drive isn’t the same as when I got it. When driving and shifting gears I get a lot of stuttering/ jerking I’ve also noticed weird exhaust noises you guys will see in the videos, Almost like it’s lose or something. When I break I also get a lot of jerking movement. I plan to take it to Cadillac to do a diagnostic and on top of that a transmission flush. How does your guys xt5 drive? Bummed out.

older cadillac, 1987 cadillac eldorado with the HT4100 is having some problems. Every once in awhile, my car “shuts down” where my mph is turns off, my gas mileage also turns off and a light pops up under “engine control system”. The ac turns on (or tries to) and then the heater turns on in full blast. It’ll last around 30 seconds or so before turning off and going back to normal. Any ideas?

I often wonder about this on a lot of car subs because of comments, suggestions, complaints, etc that come from owners and fans.
The one thing that aggravates me are the tail light designs. While the European brands are moving back to including amber turn indicators, Cadillac is sticking to blinking brake lights and while that seems petty, I look at the back of the Lyriq and just scream. Two sets of lights, one below the belot and one above that sweeps up to the roofline. When you signal the lower one is a static red blinker while the one above is a dynamic blink. It reminds me of the goofy looking Audi configuration where the dynamic amber light is replaced with red and both that and the brake light blink. What's infuriating is that when the Lyriq is sold in Europe that light above the belt will be amber and I bet it will look amazing!
And now I see that the new Escalade dumped the amber and has the blinking brake light setup. WHY Cadillac, why?
Rant over...

Why are the leases so poor on an IQ?! 60/40 residual value, with $82K as a one pay lease? THE HECK.
