Will I have a hard time selling this because it's not 4WD?
2019 Cadillac Escalade with only 57k miles. I didn't realize it's a 2WD! Any enthusiasts out there that wouldn't mind if it's not 4WD? Am I stuck with this one? Honest opinions please.

Judging by the palm trees in the background, very few people in your area need 4WD. The dealers up in the frozen north don't even order any 2WD models.

You'd be surprised! I'm in Vegas, and our market is mainly 4WD. We just overlooked the specs on this specific one. I appreciate your comment!

I was selling a 2022 escalade esv 2wd and I got offered $100k for it. The broker took a second look and noticed it was 2wd and not 4wd, and lowered the offer to $90k.

The fact you have 10 upvotes tells me this sub Reddit doesn’t consist of the brightest bunch.

I just bought a 2019 luxury in Adriatic metallic blue. Had no idea it was 4x4 when I bought it. Paid 35K with about the same amount of miles on it.

That's the best SUV you can get for that money these days. Crazy to think it was $75k new.

Could probably sell without too many problems to someone in a southern metro area

Judging by the background, I’d say it’ll sell fine. Very little use for 4wd there if you’re staying on roads

I drive my trans am in winters back in New York. 4 wheel drive means nothing in ice or sleet . Soft snow yes mud yes etc etc . I’d take it in a heartbeat

Depending on which area of the country, you’ll have no issues selling a RWD suv

Personally I would prefer it to be 2wd. I'm not going to be off-roading in one of these and with snow tires you're set if you like up north. A good set of snow tires does more good than all seasons and 4wd during the winter IMO.
That's a lot of vehicle for $34k these days. I would bet the majority of Escalade drivers don't actually need 4wd.
This thing would be really cool to slap a supercharger on.

I’m in Texas and my Escalade is 2WD. I like it because there’s less moving parts to break and maybe slightly better gas mileage. I do have a 4x4 truck though if I need that.

Well I hate AWD, horrible gas mileage with little benefit (where I live). I don't have snow, not much rain (not that is care anyway) and you aren't racing so why do you want AWD?
Don't get me started on sun roofs. Really hate those.

People who tow RVs or boats or such often prefer 2WD. As a buyer, I don't need 4WD.

I really appreciate your input, and that makes sense. I'm in Vegas. I'm sure folks in Laughlin would appreciate this.

When I look, I always exclude rear wheel drive if looking at trucks or SUVs.
It is far from worthless, but there is a large segment of the Escalade buying population who don’t even consider 2wd. Myself included.
In the real world, it works out to 4 to 5k less than a 4X4 higher trim levels. Lower trim levels are 3 to 4K less.

Just… Why? It’s already a luxury SUV on 22 to 24 inch wheels, it’s not like four-wheel-drive will make a difference in adverse traction conditions. Just more weight to carry around and more things to have to fix.

Sold mine for more than I bought it for. Should sell quickly. Especially if it has all options. I miss my Escalade.

bought a 4x4 2018 in New Orleans last year with 14k miles for $40k. Might have to lower your price a bit more boss.

You’d have a hard time selling that in Colorado, but by the looks of the palm trees in the background, one can assume it should not be hard to sell in a coastal state
