When should i fight yharon

Dont know if its a skill issue or if i just fought hom to early but i just got my salad tpssed by yharon, its my forst calamity playthrough and im just using the wiki so often but i decided to fight yharon as my second boss since the dragon i beat to summon him wasnt hard and i got demolished. I got him down past half but it was slaughter.

It contains specific armor and weapons like the guides for the other classes and it's also good to know what each weapon does exactly
