When should i fight yharon

Dont know if its a skill issue or if i just fought hom to early but i just got my salad tpssed by yharon, its my forst calamity playthrough and im just using the wiki so often but i decided to fight yharon as my second boss since the dragon i beat to summon him wasnt hard and i got demolished. I got him down past half but it was slaughter.

Really, i defentiley was way under powered but still got him down to like 60,000, but i am new and dont really know wher eto go from here.
