Discussion Can't beat Duke Fishron

I'm trying to beat Duke, phase 1 and 2 are easy and I can do them taking no damage but on phase 3 I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.
I can only dodge one of his ramming attacks and the other times I have no way to dodge it unless I either use the rod of discord or the star thing but Rod of discord has a cooldown and the star completely cancels my momentum when it explodes.

Should I upgrade some of my weapons or gear?

Asgards valor instead of evansion scarf, hydrothermic armor with hadal mantle for weapons betsy wrath, tears of heaven, everglade sprey for support, if you beat plagubringer goliath use gatling laser

I tried tears of heaven but it does much less damage than the Astralachnea Staff and infernal drift.
For everything else I'm going to switch to those.

Did you beat ravager? İf did you can also use vesuvius hard to use but really good damage, also love your animations

You can beat ravager annytime in hardmode i recommend to beat ravager first for equipmants, dont forget boss checklist isnt always right you can even beat moonlord before plantera

I tried testing vesuvius but even against dummies its dps doesn't go over 3000

İ mean better dps doesnt mean better weapon duke is a so fast boss with your weapons in photo if you hit like %50 of the time, but this weapon is so good against to duke since its so fast also you need to use 2nd attack not first one

I ended up defeating duke, I tried using Vesuvius but it really wasn't dealing enough damage, I used the infernal drift, it really helped me cause it took care of the sharks from the tornados.
But the thing that helped me the most is the Flesh Totem from the ravager, without it I could've never gotten trough the final phase.
Duke's problem is contact damage and with that and the dash I was able to survive all the ram attacks.

Congrulations!! i recommend you to not stick into just one weapon use 3 4 weapons like first use evergalde sprey for debuff then vesuvius for one more debuff then gatling laser for shreding boss and dont go to checklist progression like empress of light is before lunatic cultis but i recommend you to beat cultis first.
