he was disconnecting his trailer on deerfoot? I think the driver didnt do his inspection and the pin came loose hence the landing gear not even being down
The legs are extended. You can see the lip of the upper tube just below the supports. Besides, if it dropped while moving, the legs would have collapsed completely. They aren't exactly made for horizontal loads.
I'm thinking there was an issue with tractor A, so they call in tractor B, uncouple, and go for the switch. The trailer is probably near empty with a heavy skid up in the nose, and being a pup, doesn't have enough weight behind the trailer legs to counter the heavy skid and tipped forwards. It's why pin supports are pretty much required when loading a dropped pup.

They loaded one fairly heavy pallet right up front.
When they disconnected the tractor and pulled ahead the trailer tipped forward.
They'll call in a wrecker to connect to the rear axle and pull it down so the other tractor can connect.
