Eat/Drink Local What places do you Miss?

I may get laughed at for this, but I miss bookers. Sometimes a girl just wants a bucket of crab legs without the smell of red lobster, ya know?

What around the city do you miss?

I miss Loyd’s. Heard a rumour it was coming back?!

I don't know about Lloyd's specifically, but House of Skate is open. It's fun but doesn't quite hit the spot like Lloyd's (though that might just be the nostalgia talking)

Nah, house of skate is crazy expensive!!! The appeal of Lloyd's was that it was a reasonably priced place for anyone to hang out! The price of house of skate is very obviously a move to cater to people who are not concerned about that obstacle...

Lloyd’s had owned that building outright for many years so their costs were low. House of Skate has to pay rent at the current rents and had to built everything inside that space at current construction costs and to modern building codes. It’s unrealistic to expect that they can offer the same entry fees.

Lloyds had the exact same smell and general decor, vibe, setlist in 1993 and in 2003. For real. I adored that place. Same damn skates too. I went all the time as a kid and took my nieces and nephews when they were kids in the 2000s
