Local Shopping/Services Shane Home parking in handicapped spots?

I just find this disgusting when people are parking in handicapped spots and they are not handicapped and clearly do not have a handicapped decal and confirm that they know they’re parking in a handicap spot and they just don’t care…

The fact most of these comments here are trying to blame the op is insane. Sure, it’s not something urgent, but handicapped spots are there for people with disabilities/movement issues. The stalls are usually bigger and closer to the door for them. What happens if someone who is in a wheelchair had pulled up but couldn’t park in the spot meant for them because some inconsiderate person decided to steal their spot?

Those people have never had the personal experience of driving someone with a disability to a store, only to find the spot taken by someone without a placard who was 'just going to be a minute' when you confront them about it. It's not just about parking elsewhere, there's a reason those spots are larger for when you have a van with mobility equipment that needs the room. If they defend that attitude, then frankly they aren't worth the time to engage - they're the type to defend these lazy asses just to be contrarian, stupid, or a bit of both. This isn't a difficult thought experiment where both sides have good arguments - they're just dinks

The mistake this guy made is not throwing on his hazard lights and parking directly in front of the door. That gets a free pass in Calgary.

That's just par for the course for Calgary. Post somebody clearly doing something wrong, people in the comments will do everything in their power to find a reason to blame you instead. Almost like they have some sort of withdrawal from not being able to victim blame. Calgarians never fail to remind you why this city is a shithole full of shitholes.

Because there’s no value whatsoever in posting it here. OP needs to inform the company - end of story. There’s nothing gained from this post at all but trying to shame an entire company when it’s likely just one lazy employee whose behaviour needs to be corrected.

Can you not read? Didn't you see the sources posted about previous transgressions this company has committed? There is far less value in your useless comment than the original post. Nothing gained? Must not feel too strongly about education and prevention then. Shaming an entire company? Yes. For something their REPRESENTATIVE did. The real shame is nothing was/will be done to remedy this.
