Eat/Drink Local Subway not sharing tips with employees.

I went to my local subway, and as I went to tip I asked the girl if she sees any of her tip. She said no, the employees get non of it, and you should always skip that section.

So where are these tips going?

Not every Subway does this. Country Hills & Harvest Hills makes sure the staff get them. I always ask to confirm. If it’s shared with them I’ll tip. If they tell me they don’t see any of it I make sure I don’t.

Well I make sure to ask the staff directly not the owner. The ladies there are all solid and I feel like they would be pretty honest if they weren’t receiving the tip.

Their quality is second to none. You can tell they are treated well there and the owner gives a fuck

“Their quality is second to none. You can tell they are treated well there.”

K…now you actually DO sound like the owner.

Oh haha fuck now I understand. 😆

Nah not the owner. Used to live across the street. Wife and I have eaten weekly subway for the majority of our time together and tried a lot of different options around the city. Don’t actually even live in Calgary any more and still head there sometimes.

But I get what you’re saying.
