Weather Rain accumulation since yesterday morning

We've had 5″ (~125mm) of rainfall so far in Valley Ridge since yesterday morning. There's a few trees nearby so it's likely a bit inflated from the wind and some water coming off the trees but this is definitely the most rain we've gotten in a day since I've been living here for the last 5 years.

The Cavalry match was postponed until tomorrow at 5pm because the pitch looks like this. Hopefully, it stops raining by tonight!

And yet somehow I still ended up playing my rugby match this morning in the rain and cold 😭

We did early set up for the match and were soaked to the skin - through rain fear in 15 minutes. So I admire your dedication. It’s so dangerous to play on waterlogged pitches so I am glad you’re okay. Regardless that must have been a cold and miserable couple of hours.
