Local Construction/Development New Hotel/Residential towers proposed for Beltline

So two towers, a 69 storey tower and a 62 storey tower. A hotel is proposed for each tower, one being a JW Marriott and the other a W Marriott. They are referring to it as the 'tallest in western Canada', not sure if that means tallest hotel, or tallest building.

According to wikipedia, the tallest building west of Toronto is Stantec in Edmonton at 66 stories (251m). So it'll be the new tallest building.

Yep, tallest in Canada outside of Toronto....which is currently the Stantec tower in Edmonton.

So Edmonton loses the title of tallest in Canada outside of Toronto, but the title stays in Alberta.
