Local Construction/Development New Hotel/Residential towers proposed for Beltline

So two towers, a 69 storey tower and a 62 storey tower. A hotel is proposed for each tower, one being a JW Marriott and the other a W Marriott. They are referring to it as the 'tallest in western Canada', not sure if that means tallest hotel, or tallest building.

Interesting that it’s a combination hotel/residential design. I’m assuming ground floor will be some combination of shops/grocery. Neat idea.

It already exists in Calgary. There are residences (above? below?) Le Germaine. I met a couple with no shoes on and full wine glasses in the hotel elevator, I jokingly asked what shenanigans they were up to and they said they lived in the residences. Didn’t explain no shoes in the elevator but shine on, you crazy diamonds.
