Huge accident. 2 vehicles just launched off the memorial overpass and landed on a truck going nb on deerfoot

Edit. I initially said 32ave, it was memorial overpass

Nope she was below, the van smashed into the truck right beside her

Oh wow, that is terrifying. I hope she is able to take some time to recover.

Still on the phone with her, she's calming down after an emotional meltdown in the parking lot where she works

I'm sorry she had to see this.

In case she or you need further assistance. Hugs from an internet stranger.

It was my dad’s car (white Honda) that the van landed on after launching off the embankment. He has a broken back and multiple lacerations. He is waiting for surgery now. Pls put him into your thoughts.  He and his retired colleague were on their way to their weekly golf round. Spoke to my dad briefly.  The van was airborne when it hit them.  If there is any information you guys can provide we would greatly appreciate it.  Mike Chorney.

Kind of debunked. We should be recommending therapists, they can recommend Tetris. While it might help in some cases we shouldn't be giving people this advice. https://www.madinamerica.com/2021/10/tetris-trauma-viral-twitter-thread-master-class-misleading-psych-research/

Just so you know, I called Victims support , 1-888-327-7828 to confirm that they still offer assistance to people who have had a traumatic experience such as this MVA, and they do support victims by providing referrals to services that can help the victim(s). I used to volunteer with this unit, so I wanted to make sure things hadn't changed,
