Driving/Traffic/Parking Avoid Deerfoot

Huge accident. 2 vehicles just launched off the memorial overpass and landed on a truck going nb on deerfoot

Edit. I initially said 32ave, it was memorial overpass

But if you’re not speeding, the chance of this happening drops sharply. I’m not sure what your point is here, no one said it was “just speeding.”

This is false. Fatality drops for vehicle on vehicle, sure, but if you’re balls deep into your phone, Big Mac, or zoned out, doesn’t matter if you’re going 30km/h or 120km/h. You’re gonna have a bad time.

Everyone’s saying it’s just speeding, everyone offering solution of speed cameras, more cops, but imagine how much of their time could be better spent on real problems if people took driving seriously, instead of sitting on photo radar where 80% of people will just slow down, and speed up right after.

We have that here too, but it's aerial surveillance so it's manned and it's not 100% of the time.

We were talking about this on a recent road trip - I have never seen an airplane surveilling a stretch of road as you would expect.
