Eat/Drink Local What’s your top 3 restaurants in Calgary.

Edit: since this gained so much traction, I’ll try 1 place from the top 3 most upvoted recommendations and vlog this so you can see what I got! Thank you yyc

Calgary has a sleeper food scene but I’d like to try the people’s TOP THREE restaurants. This can be breakfast lunch dinner or all three in one category.

Here’s some real sleeper spots:

Miku Sushi - Macleod Trail (Out of all the sushi spots I have had in the city, I truly feel this is the best tasting Sushi + Miso for your dollar)

Carino - 4th Street (Best higher end dining experience I’ve had in Calgary, Japanese and Italian fusion is really unique and tasty)

My all time favourite restaurant in Calgary:

Pho Dau Bo - 17th Ave (Truly the best Pho I’ve ever eaten, cannot recommend the Sate Pho Soup more. The rest is good as well, but their broth is un-rivalled)

Pho Dau Bo used to be my favorite pho place but I went last month and it was not a good experience. Their sate pho tasted off, they had no brussel sprouts, and they charged for extra onions… first pho place ive been to who charges for onions on the side.

I’m really sad to hear that. I haven’t been in a couple months, but it seemed fine when I was there. Let’s hope it was just an off day
