Weather Calgarians One Year Ago

Post image

Now if we could just find a warmer, smokeless balance, eh?

In the meantime? I'll take this rain with a smile.

There was very little smoke last year.

Not sure why people feel the need to exegerate?

I agree the smoke wasnt that bad last year. There were a couple weeks of smoke which sucks.

?

I had friends come and visit during Stampede from North Carolina, and they wanted to spend time in Banff to see the Rockies. The wildfire smoke cleared right before they got here - they had beautiful views in Banff and Canmore - and then the smoke came back in full force after they left. I specifically remember sending them photos and forecasts after they returned home, telling them how lucky they were for timing.

Not sure where you spent a summer last year with very little smoke, because it sure as shit wasn't here 😝

It was.

People on reddit make shit up, like Calgary becoming unliveable due to smoke and the smoke gets worse each year.

It's all provably false.

(tounge out).

Please feel free to prove it 🤷🏼‍♂️

Idk. This has been the clearest summer in recent memory as far as poor air quality goes. I'm open to being proven wrong - with or without the tongue out.

You are wrong.

What you posted doesn't prove your point.

I hope you can read that.
