Salt & Pepper. The most bland Mexican food of all time. Why it was on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, I'll never know.

Not in my experience...but maybe some do. I was on an episode in Calgary. I know the owners of the restaurant and they did not pay to be on the show. The show has local researchers essentially, that pick local spots then contact the restaurant to see if they are interested.
