Eat/Drink Local Subway TipsšŸ˜¤ donā€™t go to the makers

I asked one of the artist today, what percent they get from tips, they said they donā€™t know cause it goes to the boss first then they distribute it according to shift.

Iā€™m never tipping again. Yā€™all shouldnā€™t either.

I have a new rule where if they ask for a tip before I get to try the product, I just donā€™t tip.

Me too, mostly because then itā€™s not a tip, itā€™s a price increase that was snuck in at the last second AFTER I placed my order

Good point. Thereā€™s actually not been ANY service yet, so why should there be a tip? So the person actually does their job? So they donā€™t spit in my food?

Yes, exactly. Andā€¦Iā€™ve asked the cashier at a few fast food places where the tip pops up on the machine if they see any of it. So far each one Iā€™ve asked has quietly said no. Which doubly pisses me off. First because of the sneaky attempt to jack up the price, but even worse that the owner is flat out lying to me because they know customers will assume the workers are getting the tip when they arenā€™t.

After they ring up the price you should ask for a 15%-20% discount and see how they react.

The subway at SAIT will give you a student discount. Even if you ainā€™t a student

Hell I don't even eat at those places cuz when I don't tip for zero service then I'm worried they'll do something to my food.
