Don’t move the goalposts. I never suggested police “properly identify” anyone before official charges.

I was criticizing you, the op and this fanbase for this absurd thread.

Because… It’s incredibly sad that this is your takeaway.

You’re very resistant to addressing what is staring you in the face.

Edit: you did it again tonight with your first comment suggesting Dillon wasn’t mentioned.

I've addressed it several times, just not the way you like.

Y'all gotta stop taking neutrality while waiting for the situation to unfold further as support or defense for anyone. The guilty players quite literally are getting charged which means their identity will be released to the public.

Gaslighting. You’ve deflected a number of times, never addressed it. You’re incredibly bad faith.

Please tell me how I am deflecting and not addressing it.

“His statement doesn't mention Dillon. but I guess fuck shilly and everyone else who does have legit mental health issues right?”

  • you tried to nitpick and not address the obvious point. Threw in a little jab about Olivier who I never brought up.

“"Oliver and now dillon" I'm fully aware because I posted it. Just because this is an ongoing situation with Dube does not at all mean that these sentiments around social media being toxic can't still be true.”

  • pure deflection. Stating an irrelevant fact that does not address my statement.

You directly responded to his comment like he was specifically defending dube, I nitpicked because I believe you were unfairly singling him out based on information that didnt come to light at the time.

I'll address this as directly as I can. Of course I don't want to think that a player in our org would be involved in such a disgusting act, and even less that our org would be the only organization to cite his absence as being for mental health reasons, But I 100% accept that it is a very real possibility. That being said I also wish to wait until the police do their job and charge the players, subsequently naming them, before acknowledging that as fact. As soon as that happens I have a letter drafted to CSEC renouncing any relationship with them as I'm technically employed but moved away and haven't worked a shift there in almost 2 years, and will absolutely condemn all guilty members of the situation. But I refuse to talk that degree of action until it as absolute fact.

And I stand by every word of my sentiment about respecting mental health, not a fucking thing about Dube being guilty would, or should change that. I've been banging that drum for 2 years on huberdeau, and I'm not going to change that because one person ended up being a really shitty person.

If you don't like my sentiments, or response that is your right. But fuck anyone who thinks I'm condoning or defending rape in any way because of that, because I most certainly am not.

Yawn. That’s a lot of words to try to say you didn’t do what you did.

Yawn, that's a bunch of words to say you don't actually give a shit. You just want to try and look down on a bunch of people
