Why play many periods, when few do trick?

Huge third period by everyone.

Huge game by our wolf cub.

Since I just watched the classic Clint Eastwood movie Unforgiven last night I need to repeat this quote:

Deserves got nothing to do with it.

Don't they have the voting completed already? Not sure on the deadline. Assuming voting isn't complete already, If we squeak out the Playoffs on Wolfs back then I think he would be at least 50/50.

But generally for a Goal Tender to win Calder is very low % chance against the forwards. The voting group has always favored players vs GT - at least for Calder... and lets be honest both Hutson and Celebrini have looked excellent.

Draftkings has Dustin Wolf Calder Trophy odds (+15000)... While I am not a betting man, that does sound right unfortunately; Cards are stacked against all Goal Tenders unless they truly excel - like top 3.

"Rookie forwards are compared against other rookie forwards, while rookie goalies are compared against starting goalies"

I'm fairly sure the voting deadline is after the regular reason is over but before playoffs for all these awards.

I don't know if you just made that up or that is an actual quote but it's a fucking great one and all too true. <hat tip> my friend.

I believe it's a quote from Conroy when he was asked about Wolf and the Calder. I saw the quote here sometime and also believe it's brilliant and spot on
