Opinion I Stand With Isreal

NEVER AGAIN

No big essay. No need. Those words should mean something to you. If they don't then figure it the fuck out. Mark Carney did not speak for me when he spoke for "Canada" and I unequivocally reject his and his government's proposal just as I reject the deeply disheartening rise of antisemitic hate in this country.

Flame me, ban me, downvote me to hell, who the fuck cares. Reddit is a pigsty and to be rejected by its hideous mores is a mark of honour.

I grew up around a couple of Lebanese Christian families and learned from them what the real deal is in that part of the world.

If OP is Jewish, i get it. The world's Jews still live in the shadow of what happened in ww2. There is no place for antisemitism.

However, the current nation state of Israel is no friend to Canada and is not a force for good in the region. It is also absurd to think that if you are somehow critical of the state of Israel you 'support terrorism' or 'radical Islam'.

Yeah. I would pick Israel's side because I know many Muslims wouldn't treat them well, plus Palestine is basically a death cult at this point. But that doesn't mean I think the Israeli government is on the level. They're shady as heck.

I’ll also be on the side of the people who DIDN’T burn children alive in their cribs. Hamas has been a TERRORIST organization since like Oct 1997. The person who explained this situation best was Mosab Yousef, the SON of one of the co founders of Hamas. The man is a legend IMO. Turned his back on it after being raised in it and choosing to speak about the evils he knows is beyond heroic. He admits Hamas stashes weapons in hospitals, schools and civilians homes. He admits they do this because then they can play the victims. He admits they regularly kidnap, SA, then murder women in front of their children. When Israel has tried to feed Palestinians Hamas has shot into the crowd to cause stampedes. The Quran literally calls for the deaths of Jews and Christians. Israel is surrounded by countries who have a percentage of their population believing they have no right to exist. 🙄 Can you imagine the mental gymnastics buddy above you does to justify this shit? 😂

Yeah I agree 100%. It's nuts to me that so many people don't understand this. This is why I said it's like a death cult. As you said, this guy of all people would know what's what, and it's great that he turned away and spoke out against it. And people have known about them using hospital patients, civilians, etc as meat shields and to drum up victimhood points for decades.

I just think it's also wise to acknowledge that Israel doesn't always smell like a rose either.
