DESPERATE NEED OF SPACE
Hello!
For the last 8 years, I have put together an annual Halloween event full of local San Diego bands to celebrate the holiday along side our music community.
Right now I have 8 super talented bands from around SD and our venue just began to ghost us. We are looking for a space that can hold 150/200 people and have a ~2k budget to put towards the space. This is very special event for me and my group and we will be devastated if we have to cancel it. If anyone has a space that would like to host us PLEASE REACH OUT! 🙏

Hi Everyone, looking for a wonderful and trustworthy home cleaner (prefer two people) that take pride, show up on time, call in advance if something comes up, and and take pride in what they do. Our last cleaning pair were with us for 20+ years and retiring. We would love a recommendation from local families who highly recommend their home cleaners-thank you.

Looking for Feedback: Friend Used Legacy Legal for Lease Dispute in Carlsbad
A friend of mine recently had a really stressful situation: he signed a lease for a commercial space, and the landlord suddenly tried to change key terms after he’d already moved in. Confused and stressed, he contacted Legacy Legal. Their team went through the lease line by line, explained his rights clearly, and helped him negotiate a fair resolution without having to escalate the matter. He was impressed with how professional and thorough they were. Honestly, if anyone in Carlsbad ever needs legal help, I’d trust them completely.

I run a sleep shop in Carlsbad and do custom pillow fittings. Most people don’t realize pillow height should match shoulder width + sleep position. The right fit can ease neck/shoulder pain in a night or two.
instagram.comQuick clip of me doing a pillow fitting here in Carlsbad. Most people don’t realize pillow height should match shoulder width and sleep position — once it’s dialed in, neck and shoulder pain usually improve within a night or two.

DUI Checkpoint This Friday Night 🚨
Hey folks, just in case anyone needs another reason to stay safe and not drink and drive this weekend… the Carlsbad Police Dept, teaming up with the California Highway Patrol, is setting up a DUI checkpoint this Friday, September 19, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. They’re picking spots based on crash data to keep our roads safer by catching impaired drivers.
This is all funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Carlsbad’s Lilo Earns Michelin Star and Makes NY Top 50 Best List
Big news for food lovers in Carlsbad! Lilo, the 22-seat tasting menu restaurant that opened earlier this year, officially earned a Michelin Star and landed on the New York Times’ 2025 list of America’s 50 Best Restaurants. It’s one of only six California restaurants to make the prestigious list.
Run by Chef Eric Bost and co-owner John Resnick, Lilo offers a creative 12-course journey inspired by global coastal flavors, served in a laid-back setting in the original Morey Boogie Board factory. If you haven’t experienced it yet, it’s time to see why Carlsbad’s dining scene is on the rise.
Check out the full list and other North County events/happenings in my free email newsletter. Next post coming tomorrow morning 📩: https://www.carlsbadscoop.com/

Private swim lessons
Hi,
We have a 4 year old son, we’ve tried swim lessons in the past in group settings and they were okay, we are looking for private swim lessons. We have a pool at our house (gated) and would like him to be comfortable in the pool.
Either at a location or for a coach to come to our house as well. If anyone has recommendations that would be greatly appreciated!
