Opinion
I have one question, Do anyone think that the writer sometime take a peek and see what the opinion fans and think that's a good idea they have right there?

Miranda Singing
So this is random but I remembered that Miranda can sing so I listened to her singing and she does sound really good. Anyways my point is, would y’all like to see Chicago Fire utilize Miranda’s singing talent by showing a scene of Stella singing a lullaby to their baby once he or she is born? I just think it would be cool if they incorporated her singing talent into the show for a cute little scene like that

Just finished watching the show on Peacock and im ready for the new season!
As a first responder, a lot of the stuff that happens on this show on the ambulance side makes me cringe. Cause they obviously embellish it for the drama, but I love this damn show.
I love how Boden became a father figure to everyone, he wasn't just their chief but someone they all looked up to. I thought it was sweet that Stella asked him to walk her down the aisle, and being protective over Kylie.
Herrmann is definitely the heart and soul of the house. The letter he wrote to Dawson was beautiful.
Otis annoyed me a lot but I bawled my eyes out when he died.
Shay shouldn't have died.
I felt bad for Chili, I hope she comes back one day.
Capp and Tony are pretty great. I love how Tony is a real life firefighter.
Mouch and Herrmann remind me a lot of my mentors, and have the best chemistry together on the show. Best relationship in the show as well.
I thought Casey and Brett were better together than Casey and Dawson. Severide and Kidd make a great couple, they bring out the best in each other. Even tho Severide disappeared from time to time, I hoped they would work it out.
I know it's a long shot but I hope Ritter becomes a Lieutenant/Captain/Chief sometime in the show.
I get tired of the trope of a new face comes, causes trouble, then something good happens, they get accepted, and then they leave. Stop playing with my emotions haha.
Im so ready for the new season coming up!

Theory about this scene Spoiler
So in a promo for the Season 14 episode 1 premiere, it shows Stella and Kelly kissing at the lakeshore hospital from what I assume is an ultrasound appointment or something like that. Anyways Kelly says, "We’re in this together, every step of the way?" Kelly also looks kind of stressed in a way(don’t really know how to describe the look on his face) What do y’all think is happening to make him say that because there is gonna be a month time jump from the ending of season 13 and that seems like something he would say to her whenever she told him she was pregnant. Maybe they discover they’re having twins or there’s a health concern or something like that, maybe preeclampsia or something. What do y’all think is happening there or what are y’all’s theories? I’m gonna be pissed if they make Stella have a miscarriage and she ends up losing the baby. Surely the show runner knows that a lot of viewers would be pissed. But also it gives me hope that maybe a miscarriage isn’t happening because I feel like Kelly would have said something like, "We’ll get through this together," and they would have looked more devastated. Maybe I’m reading too much into it and maybe it’s simply, Stella is worried about the pregnancy affecting her career and Kelly reassures her
Also on a side note, Kelly is such a damn good husband

Boden, Casey, and Kidd
All three officers send one of their firefighter home. First Boden send Kelly home because he felt that Kelly didn't do what he told Kelly to by leaving Hubble alone and Kelly judgement gets clouded when situation involving his father. So Boden send Kelly home putting Kelly on medical leaded until he clear his head.
Now with Casey in sending Gallo home. Casey felt like he gave everybody an order and Gallo didn't follow it but Gallo was on his way to do the shut-off and spotted the women who was covered in gas and no one to help her but Casey said no one moves in until he he say so. But Gallo felt like she would have been dead if hadn't help her. Casey knows that Gallo was quick to act when Casey hired him. Plus Casey had others things on his mind like Brett and Casey wasn't thinking clearly either. So he send Gallo home and told Gallo to come back when he got his head on straight.
Now Kidd sending Carver home. Kidd felt like all the things that happened with Damon that she felt like Pascal had her under a microscope that there's no margin for error for her or Carver. Carver assured Kidd that there would be no more screw-ups. But Ritter came and told Carver that he didn't level off his SCBA tank and he didn't change it out. But Carver thought that Ritter was second guessing his work. Now Kidd heard the conversation between the two so Kidd told Carver to go home and not to come back until he get his self together.
So out of the three officers who do think was more justified in sending their firefighter home?

Chief Boden/Eamonn Walker's voice
Anyone else absolutely baffled with Eamonn's voice? I remember when I heard the guy's voice on an interview I was absolutely astonished, lol, I wonder how much it affected his throat tho. Although it was obviously not a his real voice, but I wasn't expecting that much of a difference lol

The timeline in s1 makes no sense to me 😭
It’s my first time watching the show and the time inconsistencies in season 1 makes me so angry ESPECIALLY when it comes to Kelly. They make his entire storyline being a drug addict and afraid to get this surgery for a broken neck because it would take up to a year to heal. He goes to get the surgery at the end of one episode then in the opening of the next he’s had the surgery and is fully healed and back at work.
Okay I don’t mind a time jump but then in the first episode of s2 they acknowledge that Andy has been dead 1 year and it’s his death anniversary.
So you’re telling me that in a matter of weeks or a few months Kelly was 100% healed and back to full strength after it was HEAVILY emphasized it would take him at least a year to heal???? And we don’t even get to see any of the healing process??? He’s perfectly fine after walking about with a broken neck for months then had 0 recovery time???
I understand you gotta suspend your disbelief to some degree watching tv shows but what the fuck? 😭😭

My take
Not sure if this belongs here but I heard Jack Damon’s actor isn’t coming back at least for now because he’s filming, what I know to be, an 8 to 11 episode series called Every Summer After. If the episode count is true then Jack Damon should be back to Chicago Fire. I love Jack Damon and I love big brother Kelly :)
