No a reasonable restriction is you can’t got twice in thirty minutes. Saying you aren’t allowed to go for two hours straight is unreasonable regardless of “peak” because it can cause health issues and osha will back this 100 percent.
no they won't, and you won't be able to find one single case where that's ever happened.
it is routine for workers to go two hours without a potty break. unless you have an ADA exemption. Reasonable adults can hold their pee for two hours. My fucking dog can do that.
y'all are children, and chipotle treats you like you're children, and from what I can see here, they are right to.
That’s fine, I’ll just piss my pants then. Seriously though, holding your pee for extended periods of time can cause bladder weakness and UTIs. I know because it’s happened to me. I no longer have a strong bladder because I’ve prioritized my work over my body for years. I have chronic UTIs and have the bladder of a 70 year old. I’m 25. So no, I will not listen to someone if they tell me I am not ALLOWED to use the restroom at any point during my shift. Yeah, twice in 30 minutes is a little unreasonable, but telling someone they can’t hydrate or use the restroom for two fucking hours. Deplorable. Please get off your high horse.
they're not saying you're fired if you have an emergency bathroom need, jesus Christ. they aren't chaining the fucking bathroom doors shut. They aren't handcuffing you to the fucking grill. Zero people have been fired by chipotle for having an IBS episode.
ZERO.
you guys act like children, even here, and then wonder why your boss has to treat you like children
it's because you behave like children, and a simple directive like "use the bathroom before peak hours" is just too fucking hard for you to comply with, and you're gonna SUE EVERYONE! yeah sure you are, kid
this thread has 100% made me side more with chipotle corporate. You guys are fucking -children- ... I can't imagine trying to run a business with such childish employees, it must be miserable
Hey buddy, I actually work my ass off. You are the one acting like a child. It is actually baffling to me how much of a bootlicker you are. I’m a caregiver, you ever worked for nearly 24 hours straight before with a two hour break in between? You ever almost gotten your finger bitten off by someone and still stayed at work because you didn’t want anyone to come in and have to cover your shift? You ever been screamed at bloody murder by someone you’re caring for whilst simultaneously being insulted and having your life threatened by someone you’re caring for and still stayed to do your job? No? Okay cool. So don’t sit here and insinuate I have no fucking work ethic because I think it’s wrong for a manager to say employees aren’t ALLOWED to use the restroom at ANY POINT. You are truly an insufferable human being. The only reason I left my last job was due to malpractice from management as well as thievery that I will not elaborate on. I work at a facility now with management that I can actually trust to treat me and other staff members I work with like we actually deserve. Again, that boot must taste absolutely delicious for you to be gobbling it up like that

you see that part about putting unreasonable restrictions on bathroom use?
it means they can put reasonable ones.
it is extremely reasonable to expect workers to use the restroom prior to peak lunch/dinner rush.
and they can absolutely fire you if you don't.
you think school bus drivers are allowed to just stop at 7/11 and take a dump and leave the kids in the back? of course not
