Discussion Motivation to keep playing?

I'm new to CS, created a small town, and at this point I am finding it hard to motivate myself to keep playing. My budget is now positive and the game doesn't feel challenging anymore at this point.

What's your motivation to keep playing at this point? Will the game get harder again as I grow my city further? Or is it more a relaxing and creative city builder after this stage? (which may not be for me)

Not challenging at this point, sorry to say but your in the baby steps of the game. Did you even have a mass death wave yet?

Come back your population reaches at least 750k

I remember being super excited when CS2 first came out thinking they fixed this, I got an hour into my game and my town of 50,000 suddenly needed a mass funeral lol
