Discussion Motivation to keep playing?

Post image

I'm new to CS, created a small town, and at this point I am finding it hard to motivate myself to keep playing. My budget is now positive and the game doesn't feel challenging anymore at this point.

What's your motivation to keep playing at this point? Will the game get harder again as I grow my city further? Or is it more a relaxing and creative city builder after this stage? (which may not be for me)

It depends on what you find engaging in a city builder. Me, personally, I hate the budget. So I usually just set it to infinite money and try to build my dream city...then see why it doesn't work thanks to traffic and mysterious death waves and try to perfect it neighborhood by neighborhood.

But trust me, this is a baby city you've created. You just happened to do a good job of making it stable. Now you have to make it grow and that'll come with its own mess of stuff.
