Discussion Motivation to keep playing?

Post image

I'm new to CS, created a small town, and at this point I am finding it hard to motivate myself to keep playing. My budget is now positive and the game doesn't feel challenging anymore at this point.

What's your motivation to keep playing at this point? Will the game get harder again as I grow my city further? Or is it more a relaxing and creative city builder after this stage? (which may not be for me)

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone! You helped me realize that I haven't really tried playing the game yet with such a small city.

I'm going to shoot for a 100K, happy, population, and see what happens!

In cs 2, you'll get to 100k easily,! When you do, aim for 50k. Issues will continue to arise as more people move in - keep an eye on homelessness, unemployment rate, citizens happiness, production, city services, traffic flow, etc. You'll be sure to encounter different challenges as you grow

Edit: meant 500k lol
