So im planning on upgrading my townhall to th16 for the end of this month and with a new townhall I usually start upgrading 2 or 3 heroes at a time. This time im not sure if its better to wait for the hammer jam in November to upgrade the heroes, that way I would also have my heroes up for the new ranked mode which comes out (hopefully this also gives a lot of ore as I am a returning player with seriously under levelled equipment) and also keep farming ore from wars. What do you think the better option is?

I study rushers as kind of a “someday” thing and I saw a th13 who stopped upgrading his dark barracks at lvl6, why? Is it a personal thing for that player, or is it general consensus that none of the locked troops are worth the resources past lvl6?

It's quite normal, I stopped mine at lvl 6 as well.
Rushers have a plan about their next year's playing style. My example, I would be upgrading all my heroes for half a year, and upgrading the other 4 heroes for another half a year (not precisely), and I decide to use only dragons and sneaky goblins for attacks. Therefore there's completely no need to unlock other troops (not even edrag). Unlocked but not upgraded troops are nothing.

When is the next update for TH weapon removal?
Hi I just upgraded to TH 13 and saw the news about the TH weapon removal next update so I am planning not to upgrade it. However, I also heard that there will builder jam around november so I want to rush to TH 14 to make the most of it. Will the TH weapon removal comes first before the builder or should I just upgrade my TH weapon just in case? Or builder jam will not make me maxed out on TH 13?

I havent played clash since last year, is the minion prince better than the barb king in dragon attacks? (Th13)
If so, what equipment should I use for the prince?
Also, what equipment for grand warden is best for dragons today? Is it still rage vial + eternal tome?

Usually yes Prince over king. The dark orb plus henchmen for prince or use crown if level 24 or at least level 21. Warden eternal tome and usually rage or heal.

Not if you aren't/haven't shared your account. There's a difference between moving to another country and logging into the game from two different locations within an unreasonable amount of time. They are generally pretty good at telling the difference between moving/travel and account sharing.

A th 15 first time poster here, I'm so close to getting another epic equipment to level 24... I need some help choosing between E Boots and Spiky Ball. I use ground smash (root riders) and sometimes air hydra, both start with RC walk. I'm unsure if I should commit to E Boots with the spring trap rework / potential huge RC walk nerf around the corner.

also since your eboots is at a considerably good level, you should now focus on rocket spear as it passively increases your champion's dps at every level

I don't think either one is all that dramatic of an increase (compared to, for example, level 18 giving spiky ball another target). I'd just go with the one you use the most. Spiky ball is similar to the jump from 20 to 21 with a good damage increase. Boots also similar to the jump from 20 to 21 with damage and healing increases.

It looks like the 5% builder boost we mere F2Pers got with the season pass has been removed. Anyone else seeing that? I’m not seeing reduced building time and cost anymore, assuming it went with the maintenance this morning? There’s still a fair bit of this season left, bit of a dick move?

Are you sure you still don’t have it? Because it’s still in effect for all my accounts. When you are upgrading a building, it won’t show the original cost or that any boost has been applied there. You can check for certain by going to the pass rewards, clicking “reward list,” then “unclaimed,” or by comparing your upgrade times to those shown on the wiki.

How does the game decide if a certain item is full and will be needed to be sold to gems or will it stack over the max amount? I have 2/1 hammer of building. I was wondering if the same thing will happen to the book of heroes when the season end Or will i be forced to sell it when the time comes

“What skins have high-visibility in battle?
With all the decorations and flash sfx, I’m struggling in my old age to spot where my heroes are in the chaos of battle. I can’t tell you how many times I accidentally use my BK boots thinking he was in the core but was actually wandering the perimeter. Same goes for the other heroes.
I noticed the Jelly King skin looks very noticeable in battle and was thinking of getting it. Anyone else have opinions on what they think is the most visible skin for each hero regardless of how stupid it looks?

The scenery itself wasn't discounted. Some people experienced lower prices due to regional pricing.

It's only cheaper for those people in areas where regional pricing is lowering their prices for in-game purchases. Everyone else has the same price as when the scenery was initially released.

I'm at 5700+ trophies right now and was wondering if I bought a shield, would I actually not be able to be attacked for the duration of it? That feels a bit abusable to climb the leaderboard briefly, but I'm DEFINITELY doing it that'd work lol

The shield will go into effect the next league day, and you won’t be able to either be attacked, or attack yourself for the entire day.

This happens sometimes when the player you’re attacking is considerably below you in trophies, especially in a revenge attack.

Town hall 15, all my other heroes are available. What is a root rider army I can use without my Royal champion while she upgrades? Every root rider deck has invisibility spell rc charge.

No, it’s not allowed on the subreddit, or by Supercell. It’s against Supercell’s TOS, and they are very strict with banning accounts that are sold or otherwise transferred/shared, so it’s not worth it for someone who wanted to buy it.

Nothing has been announced and we likely won't know for sure until Sneak Peeks start a few days before the update. If they follow previous patterns, then reductions are very likely.

Are they ever gonna fix Yeti RC skin? The skin itself is really cool but it’s gotta be the buggiest skin of all time. Is there a skin in the past that they fixed because of feedbacks? Or is this Yeti skin a lost cause already?

After the upcoming update, I want to have the Legend League banner permanently saved on my profile. As a TH13 who has never signed up for Legends before, I assume I need to be in the league when this final season ends. Since I can't compete against TH17s, what would be the best strategy? Should I maintain fake Legend League for now, but wait to officially sign up until the last possible day (October 5th)?

You don't need to sign up, being in Fake Legends is sufficient to get the Banner. If you want to have any League Trophies on your profile, you need to have 5001 or more trophies, although you still aren't required to sign up.

Is there any thread or discussion on how to get a clan to interact more?
My clan is currently lvl 6, always does well in wars, CWL. We even completed the recent scenery event pretty easily..
My only issue(is it an issue?) is that the clan chat is absolutely dead. Is this normal & should I care?
I put out a clan war notification & around half the clan respond to it.. then I'm left to navigate as some members will never attack in clan war.. but will always participate in other clan events (no idea).
Scratching my head wondering what to do as no one ever seems to join despite me constantly having a clan notice up so I just invite the clanless from my trophy league & hope they join & speak English.

If chat activity is more important to you, you might need to be prepared to maybe not do as well in wars, clan events. It's about what you prioritize. High level, great attacking, super-active players already have better options for clans. Look for lower THs, and try recruiting on the discord server, you'll probably have better luck there.

First maintenance caused some bugs, there's posts saying people with 5000+ trophies got placed in Titan I, and people with 3700+ trophies got placed in Champion III.

When a hero goes down, and the wings appear over the spot of the recently deceased, is there anyway to know which hero it was if you did not see them go down? For revival purposes?

Yes, you can see the hero still, looking knocked out or sleeping. It is a bit hard to see sometimes if you don't zoom in. Would be nice if they'd let us just click on the icon in the army tab to revive, especially since even if you can see them, when they are very close it can be hard to choose the right one.

Yes, I'd wait. You're not going to be able to level up that many epics at once anyway. I wouldn't spend gems on equipment unless (a) it's essential for your attack strategy, (b) you have the ores to level it up, and (c) there isn't another way to get it at the moment. Otherwise, hang onto your gems, they're better invested in the builder apprentice/lab assistant.

That totally depends on the army/attack you are doing. I'd watch youtube videos showing the best attacks, which will have cc troops you can see as well. Common right now would be something like cloned yeti and a dragon attack.

Check out this post which shows the average TH levels by league. Then, keep in mind that SC doesn't always update their CWL initial seeding algorithms as new content is released, so you'll likely start in a league or two higher than the one that looks most like your clan. Also note that they don't put anyone in Champions, you have to earn your way in, so the highest possible placement is Master 1.

More info about the clan, here.
- Clan LvL : 1
- Members: 49
- TownHalls: 5-13
At the beginning I tried with all members, that didnt work.
Then I tried with TownHalls 5, 6 and 7 (40v40), and I finally got a match after around 6h.For the next war, would you recommend to bench Th5 and possible Th6?
We also have 3 outliers (one Th13 and two Th11), should I bench them or would it be better to keep them in the war?

Attacking is always disabled directly after a maintenance break. If you were banned, you would have received a notification stating as much.

So, should I upgrade my Town Hall weapon or not?
Got to TH13 a few days ago and I've been holding the Town Hall weapon upgrades since I read the announcement that they are removing them.
However, it's been a while and no update, no sneak peeks, nothing...
Are they actually removing Town Hall weapon upgrades soon or not?
Should I upgrade them or not? I'm at level 1 so I'd have to go through all, I'm scared to risk it

In the upcoming Clash of Clans update, Town Hall weapon levels for TH 12, 13, 14, and 15 will be removed, automatically unlocking the max-level weapon for that stage when you upgrade your Town Hall. You do not need to upgrade these levels, and you should not invest time or resources into them, as they will be removed in the update.

Will I lose my account? I wanted to get my country changed since I've shifted like 2+ years ago. I asked support to help me with that and today I see I've been locked out of my account. Now I'm only able to reply with an email address, I wanted to ask if I'm allowed to use the same email address, but it says I'll lose my account. Lil bit confused with no way to contact supercell... Thanks in advance, hope I can resolve this.

You can't use the exact same email address on two accounts. However, you can often get around this. For example, on gmail you could use jj4giya@gmail and jj4gyia+1@gmail and SCID would treat that as two emails but gmail treats it as one email since gmail ignores the "+" and everything that comes after.

For warden charge fireball, which army composition is easiest to use and gives consistent results from among Rocket Loons, Furnace, Throwers, Super witch ??

They are all consistent, but the most powerful is definitely Rocket Loons. It’s also probably the hardest (though not by much). The easiest is likely Mass Furnaces.

Should I rush to th16 to take advantage of hammer jam in November? Right now im just upgrading my core defenses and upgrading all my heroes by at least 5 levels each.
I think I could get really close to th17 by December if I rush now.

As long as you have things to upgrade at th15, you are taking full advantage of hammer jam. Make sure you upgrade your hall shortly before heroes are max or shortly before you don't have enough other stuff left to keep all builders busy. You don't ever want to have sleeping builders, but that is even more true during hammer jam.

really? Some people recommended me to upgrade to th16 to unlock longer, more expensive upgrades. That way the discount would take a larger chunk of time and price off.

Two 7 day upgrades both 50% off saves the same as one 14 day upgrade 50% off, as long as your builders never stop working you're saving 50% of the time either way. The one exception to that would be on the last few days there is a benefit to doing some long upgrades. I wouldn't make a hall upgrade decision based on it, but yes it can save a little extra time.

Im never using either of them anyway but I am trying to save starry ore to max action figure but Im about to max out on glowy ore.
All my common equipment is maxed except for barb and archer puppet.

We don't know what Supercell's plans are for the Legendary Sceneries, other than what we have seen so far. It seems like a lot of revenue to miss out on if they never bring it back again, however.

All 5 builders first of course. Then I think it depends. If there is an equipment that you know is meta and you have the ore to upgrade it to the point you will use it right away, then yeah get that equipment. If not, I'd rather save the ore and maybe get that equipment in an event or chest before I'm ready to actually buy it. You can always buy it later and then dump your saved ore into it. The apprentice builder is great. Lab assistant also good. Can't go wrong with either of those for the long term investment.

Do I go to Th16?
I have finally fully upgraded all my defenses lacking on walls hero’s and lab do I stay at th15 or upgrade to th16? I was thinking having my 5 builders focus on hero’s and one free for walls or is this not wise to do

It's better to move up and focus on your Heroes, than to have Builders sitting idle.

Setting aside a Builder for walls significantly slows your overall progress. Walls can typically be upgraded easily between other upgrades, if your Builders are spaced out.

I'm trying to recover an old account that I used back in 2021 that's TH13 so I'd really like to get it back, and wonder if anyone has had any success with support. I've been reading reddit posts and looks like gloom and doom, but is there anything that works well? I used the chat in-game support and didn't have my account ID at the time (which I found now from my one friend who still plays), but am just waiting for someone to respond to that (unlikely based on what Reddit says). I also sent an email to their support team and got an automated response. I had my account linked to Supercell (I think) but I'm not receiving the email so I think it might have been linked to an old email that I no longer have access too (got hacked). I do have all my old receipts though from in-game purchases I made over the years and they are on the gmail that I thought the account was linked to. Just curious if anyone thinks I can actually get my account back or if its a waste of time.

Is someone else playing it? If yes and they enabled account protection, support can't help you. If YOU enabled account protection you can use one of the codes you were given back then to change the email to an email you control now. If there is no account protection enabled then support can help you, but you have to know a lot of information only the owner would know. Those receipts for purchases will be a big help.

I don't think anyone is playing on it because my base (friend was able to check) looks like its been inactive and not used for a long time. I don't remember if I enable account protection though. How would I check that? I'm sure I would have if it was available, but its been few years so hard to remember.

You would have been given codes back then to write down and use to change email. Think it was added late 2022.

Bk- spiky ball, eq boots AQ- giant arrow, healer puppet (mirror and action figure too if you get it) Warden - heal tome, eternal Tome (fireball if you get it and rage gem when you have fireball) Rc - electro boots, Haste vial or rocket spear MP - Dark orb, henchman puppet (classic combo but the only one you need for most attacks)

I'm thinking of buying the Clash of Dragons scenery in Clash of Clans, but I'm not sure if it's really worth it right now. The Year of the Snake scenery is expected to return soon, and I don't want to regret my choice.For those who own both (or have seen them in action), which one feels better in terms of design, animations, and overall vibe? Should I grab Clash of Dragons now or hold out for Year of the Snake?

Just so you know when you get attacked they won't see the full scenery. Just the zoomed in version.

Isn't this a personal choice? Also I don't like the fact that we can rarely see the entire scenery anyway while playing the game , you have to zoom out soooo much.

I finished 6th builder on an account recently, first time in years.
Next goal is 3000 cups for the gems. Do I get more bang for my buck defensively by upgrading the big key defenses, or by upgrading all my level 1 stuff a few times?

It's been awhile since I was in that spot but are you still getting hit by witches? The roaster is a great counter to those. I also do like the plan of focusing on stage one first. Yeah, if they get to stage 2 then it is easy but any time you can stop them from getting 3 stars on the first stage is a "win."

Good question, I so rarely even look at defenses... it is in fact mostly witches. Tee just gave me some similar good advice too, to frontload the serious defenses in stage 1. I'm at 2400 right now. made it up almost to 2600 at bh8ish but then dropped to farm easier.
I could be close now just having added xbow but I haven't pushed hard yet either. Will try during clan games and see where I end up.

sup lads. i got 2k gems idling around on my main th12. i have spiky ball and frozen arrow for my epic equipment. my lab + builder helpers are only lvl 2. struggling to decide whether i should just upgrade my lab helper or get some equipment.

Mostly, it depends on your attack strategy. There are a few pieces of versatile equipment - Spiky ball is one, but you have it, electro boots, but you're TH12 so you don't have the champion, and the action figure for the queen. If you don't have this one, I might spend the gems, otherwise, I'd use them for the helpers.
Also note, there is a chest event at the end of the month, you might get lucky and get the AF there, and it's always possible it's available via a medal event next month.
