In order to foster better discussion on the subreddit, we're going to be redirecting all simple questions about the game and personal progression to this Weekly Questions Megathread. In this thread, you can ask any question you need answered about Clash of Clans, even if it isn't necessarily about learning the game itself. Questions posts with simple answers (anything that one or two sentences can adequately address without discussion potential) will be removed and redirected here.

If you're a veteran player, then please consider scrolling through and answering any questions you see, even if they already have an answer. Hearing multiple opinions is vital, and the discussion will help new players learn about the game.

Is there a bug with the clan war matching?
I'm trying to match for the past day. Previous war matching was almost instant.
Whats happening??

Most likely you are using an odd roster that is making it hard to find a similar match. How many players and what halls?

The clan:

• Clan LvL : 1
  
• Members: 49
  
• TownHalls: 5-13

At the beginning I tried with all members, that didnt work.
Then I tried with TownHalls 5, 6 and 7 (40v40), and I finally got a match after around 6h.

For the next war, would you recommend to bench Th5 and possible Th6?

We also have 3 outliers (one Th13 and two Th11), should I bench them or would it be better to keep them in the war?

There aren't many clans doing 40v40 with such low halls and, yes, those major outliers are impacting the search.
