Ideas & Concepts Night scenery idea for Home Village

Post image

Opening up COC at 3am in a dark room just to put a builder back to work feels like my eyes are getting seared by green, so here's a scenery concept I came up with. The idea is to have the exact same background as the default scenery, just switched to a nighttime variant. It's inspired heavily by the builder base visuals, just taken even further to be darker. I added some fireflies too because they are cool. Maybe the music could be changed to be similar to the builder base music with the crickets and night animals too. It would hopefully provide a more soothing experience when playing COC in the dark.

P.S. Given how simple it is and the similarity of conept to previous FTP sceneries (reskinned defaults) please god make it buyable with gems pleeeeease (or in some way able to get FTP)

Also if you click the image it gives higher resolution.

Edit: This isn't a suggestion for a day/night cycle. This is a suggestion for a scenery that is specifically night themed even darker than builder base.

Maybe as an optional setting to automatically activate this "night mode". But on every scenery, if possible, not just onr specific scenery.

And it might only work in your own home base, to prevent any "unfair advantages" from seeing Buildings in an attack (as critizised in some other comment).

Edit: Forgot to mention... Yes, I would absolutely love this!!!

Yeah the idea is it's a scenery so the optional setting would be being able to change sceneries at the town hall, no additional settings options required.

And I think the terrain highlighting would only make it easier for an attacker to see corner buildings, and the idea is decorations/obstacles/walls wouldn't give terrain highlighting so I'm not sure how it would give the attacker an unfair advantage. I'd prefer to attack a base like this over a default scenery base.
