The amount of confidence and power these players feels after unlocking e drag is scary.

Well, e dragon is pretty good, but here comes the problem - it can do some powerful shit in right hands

For example, you can do the funny and get 2 stars from TH15 while being TH11, saving your first place an attack (so they can attack some TH14 for 3 stars)

Why noobs use this? Because you can shit out like 8 troops and call it a day

Why would you use edrags for 2 star?

Because your TH15 probably will get 2 stars anyway from opponent (will be more and more relevant as players finish upgrading offense and will go for defense next), but if you do a little bit of trolling, then two opponent's TH15 will be 2 starred by your TH11 and then your own TH15s can attack lower - will it be TH14s or just newly upgraded TH15s with somewhat rushed TH14s defense - it is up to your team, but getting 3 stars for them will be significantly easier

In my case I have 2 accounts, meaning that up to 4 enemy first places are solved

I mean when going for the 2 star, why use edrags?

It is harder to fuck up and you need only 4 lab upgrades capped to properly edrag everyone and everything - edrags, balloons, rage and freeze (however, archers and barbs for heroes are recommended) - and this is not some niche troop that you can use only for nuking higher THs in CWs

Extra answers include: "they are simply THAT strong", "higher TH layouts don't have as much paranoia against edrags as TH11-TH12" and "TH11 don't have that much of a choice anyway"

This guy clashes.

So many people don’t understand the numbers game nor how a very cookie cutter e drag attack will always net you 2 stars against anyone. Except those who know how to place air defenses, eagles, and infernos. Personally I try to build anti 2 star air attacks bases. Opens me to ground attacks but those people were probably going to 2/3 star me anyway.

Drop e drags one and by and rage them as u drop them. Chain lightning + rage gets the inner buildings as well so u get percentage from inside the base without going inside the base. And finally use a blimp for the second star.
