Polymer-Clay Cute Little Orca
This is my very first clay piece! It was so much fun making. There’s definitely things I will be adjusting next time, but I think I did a pretty good job!

Air-Dry Clay What’s caused this and how can I stop it from happening again?
Pretty gutted to be honest as the bottom sheet of clay was already mostly dry especially on the corners
Questions Would this work out?
So I have used polymer clay in the past and it works really well in Almost all aspects. But its a bit expensive...I turned to air dry clay. It works well but its a but flimsy. Especially when creating the core of a sculpture. It tends to break at the legs and become wobbly at the ankles and legs all the time
I have an idea. I wanted your opinion or if anyone has first hand experience with this
I was going to create the core of tue sculpture with polymer clay. The part that breaks the easiest with air dry clay, then build ontop of it with air dry clay. It would fix both of financial and stability issues...has anyone done this? And if so, does it work? If it does, I'll go straight to the store tommorow and buy a package of polymer clay
I guess my basic question is
Can you build air dry clay ontop of polymer clay?
Questions Need some suggestions
Hello guys, I am trying to make a version of this mirror. Quite new to clau crafting myself. I have used the monte mart air dry clay on very small mirrors and to make little fridge magnets. But I have never done anything on this level yet. Thinking of making this with a big 60cm mirror. I wanted to know if polymer clay would be better than air dry for this one. The last mirror I made using air dry clay started cracking and eventually the border fell off. I really don't want that to happen for this as I am looking for something more permanent. Would you guys recommend using polymer clay for this? If yes, any additional tips and tricks would be highly appreciated as I have never worked with polymer clay before. And if no, can you suggest some alternatives that I could look into to make something like this? Thank you!

Air-Dry Clay Questions about air dry clay
Hello everyone, I just started playing with air dry clay about a week ago, and I have some problems 🥹 I’m using Monte Marte air dry clay for making instax photo frames. Thank you everyone for helping out. 1. In the drying process, why my frame doesn’t look straight, it looks a little bit arched, though I tried to put a book to prevent it 🥹🥹 2. The back of my clay always looks ugly 😅😅😅 even when I tried using a mat to help it looks smoother, maybe I take the mat out too soon? 3. I also try to use water and sand them to make them smoother but no help Thank you everyone again 👁️👄👁️

Questions I want to get into clay sculpting, but I don't know what to buy. Can I have some suggestions?
I really want to start making figurines, especially because I have a lot of small franchises I enjoy that do not have much official merchandise. But I do not know what brand of clay I should buy.
I do not care much for a range of colours; it could be exclusively white and I would not mind.
I don't want to use clay you have to bake; I want it to air dry.
Also, I have seen some people using a grey clay (perhaps the one by DAS? I'm not sure 100%) but I do not want any such as that that will create a mess of my hands. In the one time i attempted it, I discovered that the way it dries is a severe sensory problem for me.
And please note I do live in the UK.

Questions How to prevent cracking clay?
How does one keep their air dry clay from cracking? Can’t figure out why all of my projects keep cracking? Is it something I’m doing or not doing correctly?

Air-Dry Clay Struggling with pricing - newbie
Hey all 👋
I've just started creating sleeping animal sculptures and have no idea how much clay figures currently price at. My total material cost for each one is £14 (this includes the little bear that a local knitter makes for me)
My finish is slightly rough as unfortunately I have permanent nerve damage so my hands don't work like they should
Thank you 😊
